The Foot of Ueno Hill: Vintage Reproduction Print From Hiroshige's 100 Famous Views of Edo

This is a vintage reproduction offset woodblock print from famous Ukiyo-e artist Hiroshige and his 100 Famous views of Edo. Originally from a set dated from 1974 and produced by Kyodo News Agency in Tokyo. 

Print 13 The Foot of Ueno Hill: Ueno Hill where cherry blossoms are at their best. A party of waiting women holding parasols are walking along the stone wall toward Kuromon (Black Gate). Pictured in the lower part is an eating house and the torii gate of the Gojo Shrine. A notice-board in front of the stone wall is used by the Kaneiji Temple to announce services. 

Condition: Given age (46 years old), in great condition. Close up photos are provided to show any flaws as well as some of the subtle details Hiroshige added to his art.  

Dimensions: 9.75" Wide by 14.25" Height

Please note that the paper is thin but high quality and has some light texture to it (it looks and feels like traditional Japanese paper). The size isn't a standard frame size so it will need to be professionally framed to ensure protection and longevity. 

This will ship gently rolled up in a rigid cardboard tube.
